I like this. Super bouncy, makes me want to jig something fierce. The "Talking" bass that comes in at0:17 in my opinion is a little too loud and maybe a little thick. Sounds gnarly though, love the super staccato stuff at the start. Can't wait to hear a full version of this.

Not bad. I dig the minimalistic production, vocals sounded good and fit the song well. There were a few times that some of the melodies and harmonies and stuff felt like they could be tightened up just a touch (both timing and tuning wise) but overall great performance.
I'm liking the mix, sounds pretty clean, and that is a must for this style.

Really cool stuff. I dig how you combined a lot of heavy guitar with the synths and stuff, thats always something I get into! The mix is pretty clean as well, those guitar tones are hot.

Glad you like it man, about to start making another track as we speak! Rock on!

So sweet man. I love the adventure it takes you on through all the parts. Your creative use of effects is really good too. That occasional bit crushing was quite nice. Works really well with that video too, those guys have always made great stuff.

Ah man, thanks for the thoughtful review, Connor! Corridor is so fantastic and it's insane how good they are about pumping out fun content. I think we had to finish this track in about 20 hours - just out of necessity.

Really glad you enjoyed the dynamics and noticed the subtle bit crushing. Makes me happy and I appreciate you for taking the time to listen.

Very nice, super groovy and kept my interest. Nice mix as well.
Very tasty cheesy aliens my friend mmmm.

Blarrgensnorf responds:

Thank you!!! :D and yes yes yes :)

I really like the sounds you use here, really authentic for the style. And the composition itself is super nice, something about the chord progression you use is really chill.

Leon-ex responds:

Thank you for your support!
The chord progression is C, Em, F, Am G. I wanted it to be happy, I guess I chose well.
I will listen to more 8-bit music and hopefully I will become better at it :D

Very nicely done, hot damn. Really clean mix and awesome sense of space. Your use of delay and reverb here is real tasteful. Super chill, I'll probably jam out to this.

This is great. Can hardly tell if the intruments you use are real or samples. So either way nice job, sounds super authentic and well written.

SoundChris responds:

Thanks a lot ConnorGrail, glad you enjoyed the track!

Really cool stuff, had me interested right away. And a lot of the parts are pretty well done. Vocals didn't pull me in too much, but the synth lines I liked a lot.

I like how this is sounding. Could probably use some fine tuning in parts since it goes to a lot of places but I like how it is a bit of a journey.
