My head was kind of itchy so I scratched it a bit

I made music for Maple's Maid Service!

To be honest with you, I had been keeping up with the previews that @Peti had been sharing along the process... and I immediately secretly wanted to get involved. Sometimes poking around works wonders, because I expressed interest and it was decided that some more music might not hurt!

This first song you will hear from time to time while you explore the world! The cool thing is you could get any number of the tracks, so everyone will get to hear a slightly differently paced soundtrack.

This was a lot of fun to make, and a nice departure from the other music I have been working on. For example, it is all orchestral instruments and no drums! If you are familiar with my work or the snippets of what I am currently cooking up, you'll know it would be hard to find a farther contrast to nasty bitcrushed synth bass and heavy angry drums. So a perfect little break for myself, and an addition to an extremely cute and polished little adventure!

This one is a simple and sleepy ending tune, to bid you a day well done as you see the results of how you did. I plucked away on my guitar for this one, with some very light background elements to give it some more depth.

And then there is Gutcorp!

Along with @Frogrammer and a team that largely doesn't seem to be active on here (Alphons6, Utkarsh, Christie,Shynif) I took part in Ludum Dare 52 with this cool pixel art arena shooter!

The theme was harvest, and in this game you harvest body parts from fallen enemies to take for yourself as power ups.

The battle song, otherwise known as the main one. I went all in on making something with energy and an edge, but tried to make sure there was also enough variety to keep it interesting all the way through.

The second song, the lab one. You hear this in the break between rounds when you have a chance to enter the operating area and graft your new parts to yourself.

In other news:

• I am sitting on the best music of my life as I continue working on my dark electronic album. Hints of my game soundtracks are definitely bubbling up, including SELF, ROBOKILL, SHOOT TRIP DIE, and tons of other songs on the darker side. I am taking the ideas way further and spending a lot of time getting it all right! It's a mix of vocal songs and instrumentals, and I hope you will look forward to it B)
• Steadily working on getting out more chapters in my webcomic Deadlift Lodge (which you can find right now on my page). It's still in the very beginning little story arc, but soon some new characters, settings, and plot beats will be introduced and I'm really excited for more of the world to get out there!
• Global Game Jam begins tonight and I am excited to jam with some new and familiar faces

I put out this song as part of Tankmas ADVENTure last week, and the response has been really really nice!

so many people have written that the song is giving them a warm comfortable feeling, and that makes me really happy.

I went around and filmed some of the local winter sights in my town, as well as some of the performance of the tune, and put together this little video. I hope you enjoy it!

Aside from the video, the song is also streaming everywhere along with 3 other tunes of mine that all have a bit of the old snowy winter feeling. 4 songs in all that you can put on at your christmas gathering to entertain/confuse everyone.

Hey fellas, I had a bunch of cool stuff to share recently so I wanted to highlight it all a little more!

At the beginning of October I did a game jam with @Karlestonchew, @Supersam111, @jumbs, @MrShmoods, @wyrd-a.

Originally for Ludum Dare we made the first version of Clockwork Exorcist.

Over the month things got finished up some more and now the game is here on NG! Thanks to everyone giving it a shot so far:

and as well, I contributed some of the melodies from my tunes for Jumbs to craft this awesome medly of all the songs for the title screen!

I was feeling inspired by the Halloween spirit, as usual, so I decided to make a couple original tunes for the season as well!

Huge thanks to a slew of artists who drew stuff for these, it was fun to be able to attach some other peoples' work to these songs that I was just doing for fun. And now its like a little happy family of Halloween memories, aww.

And finally, it was time once again for Lojam (London Ontario Game Jam), which is the first jam I ever did, coincidentally working with @mmattugh way back 5 years ago (that wasn't even the first time we collabed either, how time flies). We joined up again this year, and ended up with PUP, which is incredibly NOT halloween themed but very cute and fun.

For once I started by making SFX (instead of music) because the thought of making the little doggy bark and plap around was really calling to me. I believe it also had a good reaction at the jam site and took home a few awards, exciting!

So that's it for october and spooky stuff. I also drew some art, you can go find that if you like. As for what's next, new comic chapter is coming along (slightly delayed from making spoooooky stuff) and to be honest partway through the month I watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners and caved to play 2077, and that aesthetic was fighting really hard to overtake Halloween but alas there was grave work yet to be done. But now...

Hello people from far and wide, I added the 4th chapter to my comic today!

We rejoin the unlikely duo of the human Zoya and the floating ghost Creek as they attempt to make it through a precarious route to their destination - the famous "Deadlift Lodge", known for providing entertainment and thrills to the dead and alive both!
